July 2025 Mission to Montenegro Newsletter

Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable.
One generation shall praise Your works to another,
And shall declare Your mighty acts.
Ps. 145: 3,4

Praises:

Praise God that His Word is proclaimed here in Nikšić and throughout Montenegro.

Praise God for His mighty work of salvation. His church is growing.

Praise God for the upcoming baptism of Mr. N at the end of August.

Praise God for all our faithful leaders and helpers who serve the church, Christ's bride, with their myriad of talents and gifts.

Praise God for our (Stan and Vicki's) short refreshing time away last week in the mountains of Montenegro.

Praise God for a great group of volunteers currently here to serve in the Camp Monty Sports Camp (which is happening right now!)

Praise God for knitting our hearts together, truly making us one body regardless of where we live. This summer many who've been part of the church but have moved away are visiting; our fellowship is sweet, our hearts rejoice.

Prayer Requests:

Please pray for the Camp Monty Sports Camp which is happening right now. Pray for the Holy Spirit to open the ears and hearts of the young campers (ages 8-18) who are both hearing testimonies and scripture and seeing love in action as they are ministered to all week. Please pray for the volunteers to share their faith winsomely and to connect kids with local believers for post-camp follow-up.

Please pray for us in this Season of Coming and Goings. We currently are hosting nine people and will be hosting a fluctuating number all summer. Some are here to minister, some to be ministered to, all to worship and glorify God.

Please pray for our upcoming inaugural "Receiving Believers into Church Membership" on Aug. 2nd. We're excited at this next step in the life of the church.

Please pray for John and Grace Kremer who are now targeting late-August for their arrival here. They are currently in The Netherlands pursuing needed Dutch paperwork for John. Pray for smooth sailing through bureaucratic hoops. Our God is able!

Please continue to pray for our Stateside visit from mid-October to mid-November. We are slowly cementing details but have yet to purchase tickets. Please pray for us as we prepare to minister at churches (Stan) and the Ladies' Conference (Vicki).

Please pray for Stan's health--he has not been well for the past two months and is now on his 7th antibiotic. The doctors haven't yet figured out exactly what is wrong and may send him to a specialized lung clinic.

We thank you all for the outpouring of prayers and private messages in response to our last newsletter. We were much encouraged in heart and spirit. Praise God for His wonderful mercies which are new every morning. Soli Deo Gloria!
