Grace and peace to you in the name of God our Father!
It has been a packed month with lots of comings and goings including our own. We are writing and sending this from an airplane winging its way across the Rocky Mountains. We live in a time of amazing tech!
In the ministry of the Word on Sunday, Stan covered Jeremiah 13 where God pleads with His people through graphic object lessons (eg. smashing of wine bottles) and heartfelt pleas: Give glory to the Lord your God before He brings darkness, before your feet stumble on the twilight mountains, and while you look for light He turns it into gloom and makes it deep darkness. (v. 16) and How long will it be before you are made clean?” (vs. 27b)

Please pray for Stan as he studies and prepares to preach and teach God's Word.
Please pray for Stan, Peter, and others who are serving the church, to be wise in leadership and to be sustained with joyful perseverance.
Please pray for God to raise up the next generation of leaders from Montenegrins, for men and women with noteworthy moral character, but particularly men able to faithfully preach the Word and lead the flock. (How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?)
Baptism!
We recently celebrated the baptism of Sanja! She (like so many) has a rough family background, but through hearing the Word (and the work of the Holy Spirit), now rejoices in God her Savior, who not only saved her from her sins but placed her into His family and the fellowship of believers, the church.
Sanja lives at a special home in another city and has difficulty attending church physically, but she avidly listens online, comes when she can, and faithfully shares the gospel with the elderly with whom she has contact. Soli Deo Gloria!
- We are currently in the States for the next two+ weeks for some follow-up medical appointments (Stan) as well as a bit of a vacation. Please pray for all the logistics in traveling (currently flying as I type) and for continued good health.
- As summer is winding down, we are anticipating a return to more normal routines with the restart of school, bible studies, and other regular activities of life and church. Please pray for all as we adjust to new rhythms.
In closing, we want to say once again how truly blessed we are to be co-laborers with you all in seeing God establish His church here in Nikšić. We truly could not be doing what we are doing without you.
We appreciate your earnest prayers, your sacrificial support, your quick notes and cards, and the blessing of working together for God to be exalted here in Montenegro.
